Panoramic Point
Walk Review
Cassie and I drove to the trailhead and gingerly walked a quarter mile to the viewpoint.
The trail was fully paved and was built to accommodate wheelchairs. It was shaded in small patches, but for the most part, it was sunny.
Surprisingly, there were very few people on the trail. We only saw a family of 4 during the whole excursion.
The restroom was clean, though the hand sanitizer was empty.
The road to the trailhead was a paved single-lane road, which was easy enough, until I ran into someone that insisted on squeezing by instead of letting me back up to a pullover spot.
The parking lot was plenty large, with enough capacity for about a dozen cars.
What Happened?
.6 miles, 21 mins, 91 ft of ascent
With Cassie still recovering from her knee injury, I found this easy hike—where one could see the Kings Canyon. We enjoyed the view and thought it was pretty, but there wasn’t much to do, so we hiked back and made our way to the visitor center for some snacks and trinkets.
